Check Devil — Privacy Policy
Last updated: November 1, 2026
Check Devil ("the game") is a chess puzzle game for Android and iOS. This policy explains what the game does with your data.
Summary
- The game collects no personal data. There is no account, no sign-in, no analytics, no ads and no tracking.
- The game does not send anything over the internet.
- Your progress and settings are saved on your device only.
Data saved on your device
The game saves its progress (unlocked levels, deaths per level and in total, best scores) and your settings (music, sound effects, vibrations) on your device, in the app's own storage.
This data never leaves your device through the game: it is not sent to me or to anyone else. Your phone's own backup (iCloud, Google) may include it, depending on your system settings; I have no access to those backups.
Uninstalling the game deletes this data.
Data I collect
None. I do not collect, receive, store, sell or share any personal data. The game has no server and no account.
Children
The game is meant for anyone who knows how to play chess, whatever their age. It collects no personal data from anyone, including children.
Your rights
Your point of contact is checkdevil@benzonico.com.
Under the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and similar laws, you have the right to access, correct and delete your personal data, to restrict or object to its processing, to data portability, to withdraw your consent at any time, and to lodge a complaint with a data protection authority (in France, the CNIL, or the authority where you live).
Since I hold no personal data about you, there is nothing for me to send you or delete; the data saved on your device is deleted when you uninstall the game.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version is published on this page with a new date above.
